Changing Lens was founded in 2020 to primarily provide financial risk management services across various industries including financial services and film production. Over the last few years, Changing Lens also provided recruitment, management consulting and business transformation advice to multiple startups across tech, media and real estate, in addition to helping raise investments for several projects. We pride ourselves in our bespoke approach to problem-solving and our commitment to maintaining long term fruitful relationships.

FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

A qualified actuary, Agam started his career at PwC in the UK, before moving to KPMG Bermuda to manage and lead the actuarial advisory practice on the island. During both these positions, he also helped the firms set up their respective actuarial offshoring offices in India, leading recruitment, training and delivery of complex projects. While at KPMG, he led client and stakeholder management across insurance and reinsurance companies based in Bermuda, North America, Europe, South America, Middle East and Asia.
Driven by innovation and creativity, Agam started producing films and co-founded a media-tech start-up operating out of North America, with product development offices based in India. After moving back to the UK, Agam founded Changing Lens and Take The Shot Films in 2020. He has continued to work both as a risk management professional for large insurance companies like Tokio Marine Kiln, MS Amlin, Aegis and IQUW, as well as working as a film producer and a consultant for start-ups.

With over 14 years of experience in data analysis and automation, he excels in developing sophisticated solutions using Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow. His technical prowess extends to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern automation tools including Airtable, HubSpot, and Vercel. He specializes in creating AI-driven content solutions using Midjourney and implementing automated workflows that enhance operational efficiency.
His unique blend of financial acumen and technical expertise has been demonstrated through successful management of multi-million-pound investment portfolios and implementation of data-driven strategies. At Changing Lens Ltd., he leads innovative automation initiatives and implements cutting-edge AI solutions for business process optimization.

Alex is an accomplished actuarial professional with over 20 years of experience in reserving, regulatory compliance, capital modeling, and transformation projects. Having worked with top-tier insurers like Zurich, AXA XL, and Chubb, Alex has led critical initiatives such as developing custom reserving models, conducting sensitivity analyses, and ensuring compliance with Solvency II and IFRS standards.
A natural people person, Alex thrives on building strong relationships at all levels, including with Senior Management and Board members. Known for his collaborative approach and ability to navigate complex challenges, he excels in team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional projects. With a robust educational foundation in actuarial science from Heriot-Watt University and a Diploma in Actuarial Management from Bayes Business School, Alex combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for connecting with others and driving impactful results.
